DISPLAYS BRIGHTNESS CONTROL AND GPWS PANELS ASSEMBLY

With this tutorial you'll be able to build the DBC panels for pilot and copilot, and the GPWS panel, by using panels and components from Hispapanels. You can find the needed components following these links:

• DBC panels for pilot and their fitting piece
• DBC for copilot and GPWS panels and their fitting piece

These panels control:

• backlighting of the whole front area.
• floodlights for MCP, pilot, copilot and EICAS panels.
• brightness of different screens.
• GPWS system

 

Before installing the panels, we have to know how to connect pots to dimmer circuits and servomotors card:

 

We will use the analog inputs on servomotrs card to control the brightness of screens via IOCP.

Once the panels are ready, we have to connect them to dimmer circuits and servomotors card installed on the EICAS module, following these diagrams:
